These brand new North American editions of the SPELD SA Phonic Books were developed in collaboration with our team here at West Coast Literacy and are written using a scope and sequence that aligns with Canadian speech sounds and spellings. 

These engaging decodable readers feature many lovable characters and storylines that we hope Canadian students will find relatable and enjoyable.

The series includes 10 titles that introduce the consonant digraphs and trigraphs and alternate consonant spellings (sh, ch, th, ck, wh, ng, qu, ck, k, c, wh, w, ch, tch).  The books align with Unit 11 and the bridging units of the Sounds-Write scope and sequence.
