Dandelion Readers Extended Code

Decodable book series focusing on vowel digraphs and r controlled vowels. Ideal for Grade 1 and 2 students who have mastered the initial code (also appropriate for Grade 3 students still working through the extended code or who require practice to build stamina and fluency).

The VCe series focus on split vowel spellings specifically while the Vowel Spelling Series, Levels 1-3 introduce the tricky concept that sounds may be spelled in a variety of ways.

Level 4 introduces more alternative vowel and consonant spellings as well as common Latin suffixes providing the perfect launching pad into more authentic texts.
